Kangana Ranaut is one of the most popular Bollywood actresses currently, but she now says that she does not like being in the acting profession. She also said that she would prefer to become a director than an actor.
Kangana said that she does not like her profession as it makes her go through situations that affect her emotionally.
"I don't like anything about my job, to be honest. I don't like to meet these crazy people who I have to, as my characters. I don't like the situations and circumstances my characters go through. I don't like to emote to imaginary circumstances," Kangana said, while speaking at Times LitFest festival.
"I don't like to go in mud and water when it is zero degree. Honestly, I don't like anything about my job. I remind myself the bills that I have to pay," she added when asked how she deals with it.
The versatile actress further said that she would try to get into a director's shoes as soon as possible. "I would rather be a director. There is always that next step that you want to take, but that doesn't mean that I cannot get enough to unleash my creative forces where I already am. At some point I would like to be a director as soon as I can," she said.
Kangana will next be seen in the movie Rangoon that also features Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan. Directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, Rangoon will present her in the role of a yesteryear actress.
