Megastar Mammootty, who is currently basking in the success of AK Sajan's crime thriller "Puthiya Niyamam," will soon be working with director Lijo Jose Pellissery.
Recently, rumours on the actor's association with the "Amen" director were doing the rounds on social media and now a selfie posted by actor-cum-producers Vijay Babu and Sandra Thomas on their Facebook pages confirms that they are teaming up with Mammootty for an upcoming movie.
"Guess what's cooking !! The picture says it all....With Mamookka , Lijo pelliserry , PF mathews & Sandra in bangarapet," wrote Vijay while sharing the photo on his Facebook page. A dream will come true soon ! With Mamookka , Lijo Jose Pellissery , PF mathews and Vijay Babu. Super excited," wrote Sandra on her social media page.
The upcoming movie will be produced under the banner of Friday Film House by Vijay and Sandra and scripting will be by National Film Award winner PF Mathew. Reports also suggest that the flick will be based on OV Vijayan's popular novel "Khasakkinte Ithihasam." The makers are expected to make an official announcement on the same soon.
Mammootty is currently busy with the shooting of Nithin Renji Panicker's upcoming movie "Kasaba," in which he plays Circle Inspector Rajan Zacharia opposite Sarathkumar's daughter Varalaxmi.
Meanwhile, the actor's fans are eagerly awaiting the release of the upcoming romantic entertainer "White," directed by Uday Ananthan. The actor looks stylish and handsome in the first look posters of the movie, in which he plays a billionaire named Prakash Roy, who falls in love with the 25-year-old girl Roshni Menon, played by Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi. The movie is expected to hit screens in April 2016.
