Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who celebrated her 41st birthday on Saturday, 1 November 2014, was recently spotted at filmmaker Vipul Shah's house in Andheri along with mother-in-law Jaya Bachchan.

With the duo meeting the filmmaker, speculations are rife that the former Miss World may have been considering a new project with Shah.

"Their presence created a buzz. Everyone was wondering who they had come to meet as several Bollywood celebrities reside in the vicinity. Later, we realised where they both were headed." a source told Mid-Day.

While tongues have started wagging on how the two actresses might be teaming up for a film, Shah explained that their visit was for personal reasons. "It was sweet of them to come. It was a personal thing, though. It is always great to work with Aishwarya and it will be superb if I can also work with Jayaji," he explained.

Shah and Aishwarya have previously worked together in "Action Replayy" (2010) while her father-in-law, Amitabh Bachchan had teamed up with the director in "Aankhen" (2002) and "Waqt: The Race Against Time" (2005).

However, if the beauty queen and her mother-in-law come together in a film, it would be a visual treat for her fans to watch the saas-bahu jodi sharing screen space for the first time.

Moreover, Aishwarya during her recent interaction with the media on the occasion of her birthday, was quite vocal about other projects that she has signed besides "Jazbaa", which gives a clear hint that the actress and director meeting up may have some connection with her upcoming projects.

"Besides 'Jazbaa', I have also given okay and go ahead to few more scripts ... the first one to roll on with 'Jazbaa'. I thought of making an announcement on that today but, I thought with due respect to the director and producer, it would be right for them to make an announcement," IANS quoted her as saying.

"Unlike last two years, this year I have something to talk about. I have loved the script of 'Jazbaa' and we will start shooting for it from January. I am excited about this film." the actress added.

Directed by Sanjay Gupta, "Jazbaa" also features Irrfan Khan and Shabana Azmi in pivotal roles.
