Karan Singh Grover and Zareen Khan starrer "Hate Story 3" have recently released and it has garnered mixed response from all quarters.

However, the opening day box office collection of the film has come up quite well.

According to the trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the first day collection is Rs 9.72 crore. "Despite an ordinary star cast, #HateStory3 takes a FANTASTIC start. Fri ₹ 9.72 cr. Should recover costs in opening weekend itself!" he tweeted.

After achieving success in box office with all the series of "Hate Story", filmmaker Vishal Pandya is planning to make the fourth part as well.

It seems audience will get to see another erotic thriller with an ordinary cast in the coming years.

"Plans for 'Hate Story 4' have already started. It will be made.. maybe we'll start next year-end. I want the audience to digest all the scenes or dialogues that I had showed in this film. They'll need at least a year for that. If I give them so much, I don't know what they'll end up doing," The Indian Express quoted Pandya at an event where the team was present to celebrate the collections of the first day of the film.

"So planning but before that I'll be doing another film with (producer) Bhushanji and after that I'll start 'Hate Story 4'," Pandya further added.

Pandya praised T-Series and Bhushan Kumar for the songs which topped the chartbusters.

"The success was only because of Bhushan Kumar and the T-Series packaging. I'm thankful to the promotion team for not leaving any stone unturned which made it tough for people not to accept the film. Story, seduction, songs, performance all worked for the film," Pandya said.

"Hate Story 3" featured Karan Singh Grover, Zareen Khan, Sharman Joshi and Daisy Shah in lead roles.

Apart from Karan, who made his debut with Bipasha Basu in "Alone", the other three actors surprised audience with their hot looks in "Hate Story 3."

Daisy made her debut as the girl next door in Salman Khan's "Jai Ho", while Zareen too made her first appearance on-screen with the "Dabangg" actor in "Veer" as a princess.

However, Sharman has always entertained viewers with his performances on big screen, which have definitely been different from his role in "Hate Story 3".
