However, not much is known regarding her journey from the world of pornography in Canada to her entry as a sexy actress in Bollywood.
And to reveal the tough journey of the most searched celebrity in India 2014, photojournalist Dilip Mehta has sketched some details of Leone's life in a documentary.
The actress, who attained fame overnight with her debut film "Jism 2", spoke about the documentary in an interview with DNA.
Leone reveals that the short-film has explored some parts of her life that she had kept buried for years now. The "Baby Doll" star who makes her fans drool with her sensuality, wants the documentary to tell the truth of her life.
Leone, who discussed her life's story with Mehta, was quite excited to work with such an experienced person. Further, the actress mentioned that the film will not project her as good or bad instead will only focus on revealing the truth and showcase her struggles and achievements.
On being asked how she would describe her journey from an adult star to Bollywood actress, the "Pink Lips" star mentioned that it wasn't a fairy tale but a tough and dramatic journey with many ups and downs.
Meanwhile, Leone is riding high with a bag full of projects. She will soon be seen in Bobby Khan's "Ek Paheli Leela", followed by Devang Dholakia's "Kuch Kuch Locha Hai" opposite Ram Kapoor and Milap Zaveri's sex comedy, "Mastizaade" alongside Vir Das and Tusshar Kapoor.
