Actress and singer Mamta Mohandas got engaged to her childhood friend Pregith at a simple function in Kochi Friday.
Pregith is doing business in Bahrain. Mamta was also borne in Bahrain and she moved to India in 2002.
The marriage will be held at Kozhikode Dec 28.
The 25-year-old actress made her debut in T Hariharan's Malayalam film "Mayookham" (2005). She has acted and sung in other South Indian films too.
