Actor Spadikam George, who has done many notable films in Malayalam, has been diagnosed with kidney failure.
The actor is currently undergoing dialysis in a hospital in Chalakudy as both his kidneys are said to have failed.
It is also understood that his wife Thresiamma has been diagnosed with cancer. The couple has five children Ashwathi, Anu, Ajo, Anjali and Anju.
George made a mark in the industry after his performance as an antagonist in Mohanlal starrer "Sapadikam" in 1995, following which he is popularly known as Spadikam George.
Apart from taking on roles of villain and police in many hit films, he recently was also seen trying do some comic roles.
Some of his notable films are "Mayamohini", "Mayavi", "Thenkasipattanam", "Pathram", "Lelam", "Vazhunnor" and "Ezhupunna Tharakan" among many others.
Meanwhile, veteran Malayalam turned MP Innocent has recovered from cancer after he was diagnosed with it for the second time in August 2015.
