Meerut, April 07 (ANI): Meerut, situated in India's northern state of Uttar Pradesh, is famous for harmony between people of diverse religions who live here. One place in the city, which exemplifies this fact, is Abu ka Maqbara. The uniqueness of this shrine is that a Hindu built it in remembrance of his Muslim friend. Legend has it that Abu Hasan and Bihari Lal were very good friends and religion never came in way of this bond. After Abu Hasan passed away, Bihari Lal built a shrine in his memory. The shrine now stands as a perfect example of friendship and communal harmony.
