In a bid to end the deadlock within the party, AAP leaders met Yogendra Yadav late on Monday; meanwhile Arvind Kejriwal returned to Delhi from Bengaluru after receiving naturopathy treatment for his deteriorating health.

Sources said that the talks involving AAP leaders Kumar Vishwas, Ashutosh, Ashish Khetan and Sanjay Singh took place in a cordial manner, reports NDTV.

"Colleagues from AAP came to meet me, we had a good talk. The talks will continue and we will let you know if and when we reach a decision," Mr Yadav said.

Meanwhile commenting on the discussion, Mr Vishwas said, "We are all members of the same family and we are talking to each other, you will be informed when a decision is reached."

Prior to the start of the meeting, Prashant Bhushan had a message for Kejriwal: "If he wants, I can meet him with Yogendraji, to sort out the problems to whatever extent possible," Mr Bhushan said.

Earlier this month, The Aam Aadmi Party ousted Prashant Bhushan and Yogendra Yadav from its decision-making Political Affairs Committee. The announcement was made by AAP spokesman Kumar Vishwas after the meeting of the party's National Executive on 4 March.
