If latest rumours are to be believed, Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan's son Junaid seems to be set to follow his dad's footsteps and take up films.

As per reports, Junaid has been undertaking strenuous training sessions for the past seven months. Although it is not clear if the actor's son is set to make his debut soon, rumour has it that Junaid has been working out with trainers Samir Jaura and Jai Shekhawat to shed extra pounds and acquire a chiselled body. Samir has been training Farhan Aktar, who flaunted a toned body in "Bhaag Milka Bhaag", for the past 11 years and Aamir has apparently asked the multi-talented actor for his trainer's number.

"It was Aamir who asked Farhan for Samir's number. Junaid called him expressing his desire to train under him. He was fit already, so the trainers have put him on a general fitness and toning regimen. His physique is leaner now," Hindustan Times quoted an industry insider as saying.

If Junaid enters Bollywood, he will join the league of star kids like Ranibir Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor and Varun Dhawan amongst others to pursue the paths of their parents.

Meanwhile, actor Naseeruddin Shah's son Vivaan, who made a special appearance in Priyanka Chopra starrer "7 Khoon Maaf" in 2011, is set to comeback with a bang. The 23-year-old star kid not only bagged a role in Shah Rukh Khan, Abhishek Bachchan and Boman Irani  starrer "Happy New Year" but will also be seen playing a  pivotal role in Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma's "Bombay Velvet".  It was said that Farah Khan, who will be directing "Happy New Year", had auditioned over 100 candidates and finally zeroed in on Vivaan for the role.

"Vivaan will play Anushka's driver and have a powerful presence throughout the film. Since he fits the role perfectly, he was called for auditions a while back. And he impressed everyone, including Anurag, with his confident screen test. Anurag finalised him immediately after going through the (audition) tape," an insider said.

"Vivaan won't be a part of the first schedule. Since most of his scenes are with Anushka, he'll join the crew in a month's time."
