Aamir Khan's much-awaited "PK" is all set to dominate the Andhra Pradesh/Nizam box office. The film is all set for a huge release on 19 December and it will have one of the biggest releases for a Bollywood film in Hyderabad as there are no big Telugu flicks set to hit screens.

"Aamir's #PK will have the biggest release for a Bollywood film this year in Hyderabad with no notable Tel releases," tweeted Andhraboxoffice. (Also Read: Aamir Khan's "PK" to Affect "Lingaa" Business at Box Office.)

The advance booking for the film has commenced in several theatres and has received fantastic response from fans. The Aamir starrer is set to take big openings in AP/Nizam areas considering the popularity of the actor.

Aamir's last release "Dhoom 3" did good business in the Telugu markets. "PK" is also likely to dominate the box office from this week as it will not have any competition from biggies. Rajinikanth's "Lingaa," which hit the screens on 12 December, might not pose a big threat to "PK" considering that the film's collections have dropped owing to mixed feedback from the critics and audience.

Although five small Telugu films and a dubbed film will be releasing on 19 December, they are unlikely to affect the business of "PK."

The Aamir-starrer is expected to kick off on a grand note, but its overall performance will depend on how well the film is received by the audience. If it manages to receive positive reviews, it is likely to continue its good run at the box office and the Christmas holidays will boost its collections.

While "PK" is expected to dominate the AP/Nizam screens, it needs to be seen as to how the film fares in Tamil Nadu, where "Lingaa" mania is still at its peak.

Directed by Raj Kumar Hirani, "PK" is touted to be a comedy drama with Aamir in the lead role. Anushka Sharma, Sanjay Dutt, Boman Irani, Saurab Shukla and Sushant Singh Rajput are also part of the film's cast. The film is produced by Rajkumar Hirani, Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Siddharth Roy Kapur.
