Aamir Khan's remark on "rising intolerance" in India gave rise to a controversy and now reports suggest that the actor will soon leave for USA.

It has been reported that Aamir, who is currently busy for the shooting of "Dangal" at Ludhiana, will fly off to US after the first schedule of the shoot.

Aamir of late said that his wife Kiran Rao fears for her child in the current state of "intolerance" in India and that prompted her to consider moving out of the country.

This comment from Aamir irked many people, resulting in noisy protests outside his Mumbai residence and burning of his posters. Considering the current situation, Aamir's security was beefed up, both at his shooting location as well as at his hotel in Ludhiana.

Following the controversy, Aamir released a statement saying that he and his wife would never leave India but he stands by whatever he said regarding "intolerance".

Now, a report has said that Aamir will soon fly off to USA for a short while, after he completes the first schedule of "Dangal" shooting in Ludhiana.

"After finishing the Ludhiana schedule of 'Dangal', the actor will soon leave for US for a short while," Bollywoodlife.com quoted a source as saying.

However, it is not confirmed if Aamir's trip to US is a pre-planned one or it is made considering the recent outrage against the actor.
