Aamir and Finance Minister P Chidambaram recently made it in Time magazine's list of 100 most influential people in the world this year.

Aamir had taken three days off from "Dhoom 3" shooting in Mumbai to attend the TIME 100 gala on 23 April in New York. That night, Aamir met the "Lincoln" actor, American singer-songwriter Christina Aguilera, singer Justin Timberlake with his actor-singer wife Jessica Biel, Huffington Post Media Group Editor-in-Chief Arianna Huffington and several other known personalities.

Arianna also posted a picture of her with the Bollywood actor on her Twitter account.

Christina Aguilera, who is also featured in the TIME's list, showed a slimmer figure on Tuesday night. The singer wore a sexy black low-cut Victoria Beckham dress with Christian Louboutin shoes and Lorraine Schwartz jewels, US magazine reported.

"I'm very honored to be part of the #Time100 list and for the wonderful words from Celine Dion. Thank you!" Aguilera wrote on Twitter.

The event was also attended by Lena Dunham, Jimmy Kimmel, Steven Spielberg, Jimmy Fallon, Olivia Munn, Padma Lakshmi President and CEO of Yahoo, Marissa Mayer and journalist Barbara Walters among others.
