"A...Aa" has taken the U.S. box office by storm, shattering the opening weekend collection records of "Nannaku Prematho," "Sardaar Gabbar Singh" (or "SGS") and "Brahmotsavam."

The Nithin and Samantha-starrer premiered in over 135 screens across North America and received massive response from the audience. The strong word of mouth boosted its business, with the film going from strength to strength on the subsequent days. "A...Aa" became the highest-grossing film for Nithin, beating the lifetime business records of his previous releases.

"A...Aa" passed the $1-million mark at the U.S. box office on its third day. Idlebrain Jeevi tweeted on June 4: "#AAaMovie is the 1st Million dollar movie for @actor_nithiin and 3rd consecutive one for Trivikram. His craze exploding like a bomb now! Uncrowned Indian princess of USA is @Samanthaprabhu2 as she holds unique record of having 10 million dollar films to her credit! #AAaMovie [sic]."

"A...Aa" has also beaten the record of "Nannaku Prematho," which had collected $1,631,799 from 192 screens at the U.S. box office in its opening weekend.

Having collected $2,019,211 in its life time, "Nannaku Prematho" is the highest-grossing Telugu film of 2016. It has also become the third-highest grossing Telugu film of all time in the U.S. Trade experts predict "A...Aa" will shatter these records in the coming days.
