Nithin and Samantha's "A...Aa" continued to rock the U.S. box office on Saturday, taking its three-day-total collection beyond $1 million mark. It has become the Telugu film to achieve this feat the fastest in 2016.

"A...Aa," distributed by Blue Sky, premiered in over 130 screens in North America on Wednesday. The movie opened to superb response and collected $266,729 at the U.S. box office in the premiere shows. The film shattered the record of Allu Arjun's "Sarainodu" and had the fourth-biggest opening among Telugu films in 2016, after "Sardaar Gabbar Singh," "Brahmotsavam" and "Nannaku Prematho."

The Nithin and Samantha-starrer, released in 200 screens across the country, was rock-steady on Thursday and Friday and collected $228,910 and $362,021 on these days respectively. "A...Aa" raked in $857,660 [Rs. 5.73 crore] at the U.S. box office in two days, including premiere shows.

Leading Indian trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted on Saturday: "Telugu film #AAaMovie continues its WINNING STREAK in USA... Does OUTSTANDING biz on Fri, despite midweek [Wed] release... contd. [sic]" He added, "Telugu film #AAaMovie is F-A-N-T-A-B-U-L-O-U-S in USA... Wed+Thu $ 495,639, Fri $ 362,021. Total: $ 857,660 [₹ 5.73 cr]. @Rentrak. [sic]"

The Trivikram Srinivas-directed romantic comedy needed $142,340 to surpass the $1-million mark in the country. As per early estimates, "A...Aa" witnessed a big leap on Saturday and collected approximately $500,000 at the U.S. box office on its third day. It has collected around 1,357,660 at the U.S. box office in three days.

"A...Aa" has become the biggest money-spinner among Telugu films in North America. The film has shattered the lifetime collection of "Brahmotsavam" and "Sardaar Gabbar Singh." Box Office Telugu tweeted: "#AAaMovie might end up collecting around $500k on Saturday and total around $1.4 million at USA box office. Money Spinner for Exhibitors! [sic]"

The film is expected to beat the lifetime record of "Nannaku Prematho," which is the third-highest-grossing Telugu film of all time in the U.S. Idlebrain Jeevi tweeted: "#AAaMovie is PHENOMINAL in USA as it collects $ 431k so far on Saturday. Total is $1,371,552 now. Still counting on satday! ✌️ [sic]" He predicted, "With the current momentum, #AAaMovie will end up as 3rd biggest Telugu USA blockbuster after #Baahubali and #Sreemanthudu [sic]."

"A...Aa" has become the first movie for Nithin to surpass the $1-million mark at the U.S. box office.
