Nithin and Samantha's "A...Aa" has done decent collection at the worldwide box office in its second weekend. It has entered the club of Telugu movies that have earned Rs. 40 crore in 2016.

"A...Aa," which was released in theatres on June 2, collected Rs 51.92 crore gross at the worldwide box office in the first week. The film earned Rs 35.48 crore for its distributors in eight days. Trade experts from film nagar predicted that the rocking run of the movie would be slowed down by new Telugu releases like "Okka Ammayi Thappa" and "Right Right" in its second week.

But mixed word of mouth for "Okka Ammayi Thappa" and "Right Right" paved the way for the Trivikram Srinivas-directed film to keep the cash registers ringing at the ticket counters everywhere. In its second weekend, "A...Aa" has done decent business, which much bigger than the opening weekend collection of the new Tollywood releases.

"A...Aa" is estimated to have collected approximately Rs 8.53 crore gross at the worldwide box office in its second weekend and its 11-day global gross total has reached Rs 60.45 crore. The movie has earned Rs. 5.83 crore for its distributors in its second weekend and their total share stands at Rs 41.31 crore.

"A...Aa" has been made on a whopping budget of Rs 35 crore and its global distribution rights were sold for Rs 30.50 crore to various distributors. The movie has recovered 100 percent of the investment of the distributors in its opening week and it has earned a huge profit share of Rs 10.81 crore to them in 11 days.

"A...Aa" has become the fifth to earn Rs 40 crore in 2016 after "Sarainodu," "Nannaku Prematho," "Sardaar Gabbar Singh" and "Soggade Chinni Nayana." The movie is inching towards the Rs 50 crore for this year. Here are the details top five films of the year.
