The Pakistan Army has violated ceasefire in the Planwala sector of Akhnoor, Sunderbani and Nowshera sectors after Indian troops killed seven Pakistani soldiers in cross-border firing on Sunday night.

The Pakistan authorities on Monday said that at least seven of its soldiers have been killed in cross-border firing by Indian troops in the Bhimber sector along the Line of Control late on Sunday night.

The Pakistan government has summoned the Indian High Commissioner Gautam Bambawale over the ceasefire violation.
