The 58th Annual Grammy Awards is just around the corner, and fans are already excited to find out which of their favourite artistes will be the star of the evening, who will win and who will steal the show with their performance. If you still haven't done your homework and are clueless about the whos, whats and whens, we bring you the complete details of what music's biggest night holds.

Performances

Grammy 2016 returns this year to Los Angeles with some of the biggest names and mind-blowing performances by the most popular artistes in the world of music. While artistes like Rihanna, Justin Bieber, Diplo, Skrillex, Chris Stapleton, Bonnie Raitt, Gary Clark Jr, Pitbull, Robin Thicke, Travis Barker and the Hollywood Vampires (Alice Cooper, Johnny Depp and Joe Perry) are all gearing up to set the stage on fire with their performances, there are some others who will pay a very loving tribute. Luke Bryan, John Legend, Meghan Trainor and Demi Lovato will perform a tribute to Lionel Richie.

Also, look forward to performances by Taylor Swift, Adele, James Bay, Andra Day, Ellie Goulding, Sam Hunt, Tori Kelly, Lady Gaga (performing a David Bowie tribute), Kendrick Lamar, Little Big Town, Carrie Underwood and The Weeknd.

Nominees

This year, it looks like it's going to be a close call as the nominee list includes some of the best music that came out between Oct. 1, 2014, and Sept. 30, 2015. Kendrick Lamar leads all the nominees with 11, followed by The Weeknd and Taylor Swift, who have seven nominations each. Then, we have other usual suspects like Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran, Ellie Goulding and Maroon 5.
