The five-year-old girl, who was rescued around five hours after falling into a borewell in Patna on Sunday, has reportedly died.

A rescue team of State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) had pulled out the girl from the borewell at around 2:30pm, after around five hours of digging.
She was rescued in an unconscious state and was immediately rushed to a hospital. But she was declared dead on arrival.
"Child was stuck in mud. Her breathing was feeble," Deputy Commissioner, SDRF, AK Jha had told ANI after the child was rescued alive.
The minor fell into the borewell in Mitra Mandal Colony in Patna on the afternoon of 28 June.
