A budget Micromax phablet dubbed as Canvas Juice A77 has been spotted at an online store.  

The new Micromax device, though not officially launched, is reportedly being sold at e-retailer shop Home Shop 18 for ₹7,999. It features a 5.0-inch FWGA display with 480x854p resolution and runs on the Android v4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core processor.

The budget Canvas Juice A77 is one of the very few smartphone in the market to boast of 1GB RAM, sufficient enough to play power-intensive games smoothly as well as perform multiple tasks on the device. It also features a 5.0-megapixel camera with LED flash support and a 0.3-megapixel VGA front-facing camera. The phablet is backed by a 3000 mAh Li-Ion battery, which is capable of delivering 10 hours of talk time and 250 hours on standby mode.

On the connectivity front, it boasts of a Dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) slot, 3G network support, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and A-GPS for navigation.

Micromax is also rumoured to launch an Octa-core smartphone in early 2014. Its rival Intex Technologies has already announced that it would release a 6.0-inch phablet powered by MediaTek's True Octa-core chipset MT6592 in January next year.
