The company had unveiled the GT-R at the Auto Expo 2016 in February and confirmed its launch in the country in the second quarter of the year. The new avatar of the iconic supercar GT-R, features changes focused on five areas — exterior design, interior refinement, driving performance, ride comfort and advanced technology, according to the company. The 2017 Nissan GT-R flaunts the new V-motion grille with matte chrome finish and an updated mesh pattern.

Under the hood of the GT-R is a 3.8-litre twin-turbo V6 engine that develops 565bhp at 6,400rpm and 633Nm of peak torque. Each engine of the GT-R is assembled by one of five master craftsmen, called Takumi, at Nissan's plant in Yokohama, Japan.
