KTM aficionados are eagerly waiting for the launch of new version of the 390 Duke that the company unveiled at EICMA show in Milan in November. Emerging reports indicate that India launch of the new version can be expected by the end of January or early February.

The latest version of the naked sports bike is expected to be priced premium by Rs 15,000 to 20,000 over outgoing model. This means that the new 390 Duke will cost Rs 2.15 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi, reports Motoroids.

The new version of the popular naked bike enhances its menacing looks further. It is crispier and closer to the bigger sibling, the 1290 Super Duke, in terms of design. Most notable change up front in the new 390 Duke is the split headlight with LED inserts. The fuel tank has been reworked and tank extensions are now long overlapping with the USD forks. The key slot has been moved from the instrument cluster to the front of fuel tank.

The pillion grab rail in the new 390 Duke has moved to the front. It is now integrated to the faring just behind the rider's seat. New 390 Duke also features a full-size exhaust in place of funky underbelly exhaust.

The new 390 Duke flaunts ride-by-wire throttle, full TFT dashboard, an optional MY RIDE multimedia interface, and ABS as standard. The motorcycle also comes in new frame and WP suspension, while the new colour scheme is highlighted with KTM's signature orange colour.

While the shift in design is inviting, there are no major changes on the powertrain which is a letdown for the enthusiasts. The bike is powered by the same 373.2cc, single-cylinder engine that develops 44bhp of power. Braking comes from 320mm front brake disc, gripped by a Brembo-developed By-Bre branded caliper.
