The official images of the 2014 Maruti Suzuki Swift Facelift have hit the web.

The 2014 Maruti Suzuki Swift Facelift, which found a place in the rumour book, made its appearance on Maruti's Belgium official website on Friday. Not much change has been made to the original Swift design except for a few changes to its exteriors and interiors.

The changes in the exterior design consist of a high mounted LED stoplight and a new Boost Blue Metallic colour. The car, which will be powered by the same 1.2-litre K-Series petrol engine and 1.3-Litre DDIS diesel engine, packs redesigned seat fabrics and six airbags. It is expected to see the light of the day at Frankfurt Motor Show which is scheduled to be held in September.

Maruti Swift has been a successful endeavor in the Indian market since its launch in 2011. According to the company, the Swift and Dzire models contribute to over 40-50 percent of the company's total sales. Although the car lost its hot seller tag recently to Honda's Amaze, Swift model continues to draw accolades from various corners. Indian market is likely to get 2014 Maruti Suzuki Swift Facelift sometime in October.

Meanwhile, Maruti Suzuki India introduced its two flagship models namely Alto 800 hatchback and Swift Dzire compact sedan in Philippines market.

"We are bringing the all-new Alto 800 and the Swift DZire to the Philippines in line with our commitment to deliver great value cars to the local market. With these latest additions to our line up, we hope to bring more powerful and pleasant driving experiences to our Filipino customers," said President of Suzuki Philippines Inc, Satoshi Uchida as quoted by CarTarde.
