General Motors India has launched the all new Chevrolet Cruze facelift sedan in the India market for ₹13.75 lakh.

The American automobile company has redesigned the car's front-end with an all-new grille and fog-lamp housing. The latest Chevrolet sedan has been adorned with newly designed 16-inch alloy wheels and new bumpers along with stunning new Dual Bezel headlamps and chrome door handles. The rear of the car has been left unchanged.

The 2013 model is already being looked down upon, as the automobile company has made only a few subtle changes to it. Moreover, the LT variant is just ₹13,000 less than the outgoing model, while the LTZ variant that costs ₹15.25 lakh is only ₹19,000 more than the outgoing model.

Under the hood, the 2013 Cruze boasts of an advanced integrated centre panel with graphic infotainment display, radio and HVAC controls. It has the same three spoke steering wheel like its predecessor with a thicker, ergonomic rim design for a flexible maneuver.

Apart from plush leather seats, the Chevrolet sedan brings a set of enhanced musical experience with a premium speaker system. The 2013 Cruze allows to stream music via Bluetooth.

Regarding its power-train, the sedan is powered by the same 2.0-litre diesel engine that delivers 164bhp and 38.7kgm of torque.

With this updated Chevrolet sedan, the company is competing with the popular Hyundai Elantra in the D-segment and the recently launched Skoda Octavia.

But the only spot where Chevrolet 2013 Cruze beats the other two is through its price tag and a five-year warranty scheme for the festive season.
