The shooting of "100 Days of Love" starring Dulquer Salmaan and Nithya Menen in the lead is all set to begin by August. The film is the directorial venture of Januse Mohammed Majeed, son of renowned filmmaker Kamal.

"My first film '100 Days of Love' is going to be a metro centric romcom entertainer. It is a feel good film with some breezy moments. The film has shaped up well till now and I hope everything goes well," said Jenuse to International Business Times, Indian Edition.

The young director is well aware of the expectations of being Kamal's son and said his father had been a great support for him.

"My father has been very supportive about me directing a film. He told me to go ahead if I believe in the story and the script of the film," Jenuse added.

"100 days of Love" is a romantic comedy film based in Bangalore. It is an urban love story and as the title suggests, the film is set over a period of 100 days. Dulquer plays the character of a feature writer in a leading national daily. His life takes a turn when he meets a mysterious girl (played by Nithya); what follows is a series of hilarious, charming tale of romance.

This is the second film Dulquer and Nithya are paired together. Their last film together was "Usthad Hotel" (2012), directed by Anwar Rasheed and scripted by Anjali Menon. The film was well received by critics as well as the audience. It opened breaking all the record made in the Malayalam industry till then. The film ran in theatres for more than 100 days and became the highest grossing film of the year.

The shooting of "100 Days of Love" is expected to begin by mid August. Dulquer's "Vikramadithyan" directed by Lal Jose was released on 25 July. It has opened to positive reviews and is running successfully across the globe.

Dulquer will join the team of "100 Days of Love" as soon as he is done with the final schedule of Ranjith's "Njan."

"100 Days of Love" also has Aju Varghese, Shekhar Menon and Vineeth in the lead roles. The music of the film is done by Govind Menon of "Thaikkudam Bridge" fame. The cinematography is done by Prajeesh Varma, who has cranked the camera for "1983", "Ezhu Sundhara Rathrikal", "Kili Poyi" and "Manglish." The film will be edited by Sandeep Nandakumar. Sameera Saneesh will take care of the costume department and Ajay Mangad will handle the art direction for the film.
