After performing live in the semi-finals for America's vote, the four finalists - Alex & Sierra, Carlito Olivero, Jeff Gutt and Restless Road - will hit the stage again on Thursday, and this time one of them will be sent home.

Last week saw Ellona Santiago and Rion Paige from Demi Lovato's "Girls" category being eliminated from the show.

The elimination round will be telecast live at 8/7c (6:30 am IST, Friday) on Fox television channel on Thursday night. One of the contestants will be sent home based on America's vote while three will make it to the finals next week.

The semi-finalists sang three songs each, including a duet, in front of mentors - Demi Lovato, Kelly Rowland, Paulina Rubio and Simon Cowell - on Wednesday. They performed a song chosen by the audience and another by their respective mentors.

Carlito Olivero sang "Boyfriend" by Justin Bieber (audience's choice) and "I Need To Know" by Marc Anthony in the semi-finals, earning the praises of his mentor Paulina Rubio, and other judges, including Simon. He also sang "Falling Slowly" by Glen Hansard with Alex & Sierra.

Simon's group Restless Road, consisting of Andrew Peter Scholz, Colton Lane Pack and Zach Ryan Beeken, sang Luke Bryan's "That's My Kind of Night" (audience's choice) and "Wanted" by Hunter Hayes, receiving praises from the mentors. They joined Jeff Gutt in performing "Every Breath You Take" by The Police.

Alex & Sierra sang Of Monsters and Men's "Little Talks" (audience's choice) and mentor Simon's choice "Gravity" by Sara Bareilles. The duet they sang was "Falling Slowly" by Glen Hansard with Carlito. Demi could not hold back her tears after listening to their emotional rendition of "Gravity."

Jeff Gutt rendered the song, "Hallelujah" by Jeff Buckley (audience's choice) and "Demons" by Imagine Dragons, receiving standing ovations from all the judges on both the occasions. The duet he sang was "Every Breath You Take" by The Police with Restless Road, and he stood out as the better performer.

The competition was tight, but if there was one, who nailed it with solid performance, it has to be Jeff. However, the fate of the contestants is America's hands - any of them can be sent home on Thursday.
