One of the more anticipated films of 2012, "Talaash", released its first teaser clip. The film, a psycho-thriller, stars three of the biggest actors in Bollywood - Aamir Khan, Rani Mukherjee and Kareena Kapoor - and has been directed by Reema Kagti.
Aamir Khan plays the protagonist's role - a policeman - although unlike earlier roles like those in "Baazi" (1995) and "Sarfarosh" (1999), his role is not that of a particularly action-oriented or patriotic character.
The film reportedly cost Rs. 40 crores to make and has been co-produced by Farhan Akhtar, Ritesh Sidhwani and Aamir Khan himself. It was co-written by Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Shernaz Patel are also part of the cast. The film's principal photography was completed in November and is scheduled to be released on June 1.
