Despite new film releases, Amitabh Bachchan-Ajay Devgn starrer "Satyagraha" is still raking in decent collections at the India box office.

The political drama is doing better than last week's release "Zanjeer", which stars Priyanka Chopra and Ram Charan Teja.

Prakash Jha's directorial film is about to finish its second week run and has already raked in around ₹63.14 crore.

"Satyagraha [Week 2] Fri 1.28 cr, Sat 1.72 cr, Sun 2.26 cr, Mon 1.08 cr, Tue 72 lacs, Wed 65 lacs. Grand total: ₹63.14 cr nett," trade analyst Taran Adarsh said.

Amrita Rao, who plays the role of Amitabh's daughter-in-law in the film, is also happy with the success of the film.

"I don't believe in any crore club. It is great to see such a phenomenal response to a film of this kind. I am overwhelmed. I am thankful to Prakash Jha for choosing me for this project and pushing me to give my best. I gave a lot for this film. It is like another feather in my cap," Amrita told Press Trust of India.

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan-Deepika Padukone starrer "Chennai Express" is still playing in some theaters in India. Despite running in its fifth week and facing competition from new films, the family entertainer directed by Rohit Shetty is still drawing audiences but has witnessed a drop in collections.

The film has raked in ₹20 lakh and around ₹10 lakh from the fifth Wednesday and Thursday, respectively, taking the overall total to around ₹226 crore.
