"#RamLeela USA-Canada Sat $650,000. Crosses $1 million in 2 days. Fantabulous!" tweeted film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh.

"Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-leela" has been doing extraordinary business in overseas markets. The film's first day collections have surpassed Hrithik Roshan's"Krrish 3" ($ 311,000), Ranbir Kapoor's "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani" ($ 430,000), Salman Khan's "Dabangg 2" ($320,000) and "Zindagi Na Milegi Doobara" ($240,000) at the US-Canada box office.

The film's second-day collections ($650,000) are much higher than the first day figures. The Ranveer starrer is likely to have earned higher collections on Sunday (17 November). Details about Sunday's figures are not out yet.

"Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-leela" is doing great business in India as well. Its two-day collections stood at ₹33.5 crore nett and the first weekend collections are expected be much higher. The film is expected to cross the ₹50-crore mark in its first weekend.

Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, "Ram-leela" has Ranveer playing the role of Ram and Deepika as his Leela. The other cast members include Richa Chadda, Supriya Pathak, Sharad Kelkar, Abhimanyu Singh and Gulshan Devaiah. Priyanka Chopra appears in a special song titled "Ram Chahe Leela".

The romantic flick has been receiving positive feedback from critics as well as audience. The performance of the actors and the technical aspects of the film have come in for real appreciation. It remains to be seen if the film will be able to sustain its business from Monday (18 November) as it will be a weekday.

If "Ram-leela" manages to perform well in the first week, the film might stand a chance to cross the ₹100-crore mark. But the release of Imran-Kareena's "Gori Tere Pyaar Mein" on 22 November might affect "Ram-leela" collections.
