The trailer of Arya-Nayanthara's upcoming film "Raja Rani" is creating waves across the internet.

The "Raja Rani" trailer was released along with the audio launch of the film on 23 August. For the first time, the trailer of a Tamil film was screened across 12 television channels at around 7 pm on Friday.

The Arya-starrer is creating a lot of buzz ever since the teaser was launched in May. The teaser was well appreciated by film buffs, who termed it as different and innovative. Now, the "Raja Rani" trailer has received a huge reception from fans.

The 2-minute, 44-second theatrical trailer has grossed more than six lakh views ever since it was released on video-sharing website YouTube. The video has also received more than 2,000 likes and 400 comments.

Expressing his happiness for the overwhelming response, "Raja Rani" director Atlee told The Times of India, "I'm over whelmed by this response. The film is a combination of good visuals, good music, a story line that invokes curiosity, great marketing and promotions. I'm sure Raja Rani will be a trend setting film."

"Raja Rani" is produced by Fox Star Studios in association with AR Murugadoss productions. The fact that Murugadoss (popular for films like "Ghajini", "Thuppakki") is co-producing the film has raised expectations. Moreover, the production companies working on the film are trying out creative and innovative ideas to promote the romantic-comedy flick. The wedding invite of Arya-Nayanthara and the film's teaser indicated that "Raja Rani" will have an interesting storyline.

Following the success of "Boss Engira Bhaskaran", Arya and Nayanthara's sizzling chemistry will be looked out for. Besides these actors, "Raja Rani" has an interesting line-up of stars including Jai, Nazriya of "Neram" and "Nayyandi" fame, Sathyaraj, Santhanam and Sathyan.

The film's soundtrack is by GV Prakash and the songs are already topping the musical charts. "Raja Rani", which is one of the most-awaited projects of 2013, will hit the screens on 27 September. As of now, no other big films have set the same release date for their film. "Raja Rani" might have a solo run at the box office, but it is too early to confirm.
