Family entertainer "Race Gurram" has minted ₹52.1 crore in four weeks at the worldwide box office, according to Andhra box office website

The film has surpassed Mahesh Babu-Venkatesh's "Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu" collection, which amounts to ₹51 crore. "Race Gurram" has taken the fifth spot in the list of all time top 10 worldwide shares (Telugu films).

Biggies including "Attarintiki Daredi", "Magadheera", "Gabbar Singh" and "Dookudu" are ahead of "Race Gurram" in the top 10 list. The film has turned out to be the biggest hit (so far) this year, by beating "Yevadu" collections (₹47.1 crore worldwide share).

The family entertainer is the first Allu Arjun starrer to cross the elite ₹50-crore mark. Besides Andhra Pradesh, the film has done well in other Indian states as well as overseas markets. The Malayalam version of the film titled "Lucky-The Racer" has been received well in Kerala.

The Telugu version is all set to successfully complete 30-day theatrical run on Saturday. "Race Gurram" is expected to be screened in theatres as there are no big releases. Rajinikanth's "Kochadaiiyaan" was scheduled to release on 9 May, but it has been delayed and pushed to 23 May. As there are no big Telugu releases until the third week of May, "Race Gurram" might still enjoy its run in several theatres.

It will be interesting to see if the Surender Reddy directorial will be able to enter the ₹60-crore club. So far, only three Telugu films have managed to achieve the feat, Pawan Kalyan's "Attarintiki Daredi" and "Gabbar Singh", and Ram Charan's "Magadheera" have crossed the ₹60-crore mark. If Allu Arjun accomplishes the feat, he will be the third mega hero to do so.
