The much anticipated sequel "Man of Steel 2" aka "Batman vs Superman" has the camera tests underway. Cast member Diane Lane, who plays Superman's (Henry Cavill) mom recently revealed that the production team and cast and crew recently moved to Detroit to do the camera tests.
Lane who will be reprising her role of Martha Stewart said in her interview with The Hollywood Reporter that she has just come back from Detroit, where she filmed few scenes with the Superman costume. But she quipped that she did not get a chance to see the Batman costume.
Since the announcement of "Man of Steel 2" there is much anticipation among fans regarding Batman's costume. Director Zack Snyder is making sure that the costume details stay under wraps. However, film's cinematographer, Larry Fong, recently gave a hazy peek into what looks like the superhero's costume. Fong recently tweeted a close up with an Affleck lookalike man in the background. Though the shot of the man wearing a black loose suit and a tie is hazy, his body proportions are similar to Affleck's.
Fong captioned the photo as, "I hear film is dead. But can I please finish this movie first? #film #panavision #kodak."
While fans are keen to get the first peek of Batman's costume, looks like Snyder is not sure when he would be able to fulfill their wish. He revealed in his interview with Forbes that he has got a picture of Batman suit on his wall but he cannot share it anytime soon.
"Because I take a picture of the suit with my camera- I'm actually staring at one right now in my office. And it's just massive on my wall in my office and it's epic, let me tell you! And I'm like, 'God, I want to send this to the Internet immediately.' But I know I'm not allowed to! I do value the sort of excitement of the way the film is [revealed]... the pieces that are released and sort of trickle out to everybody, and those reveals are exciting milestones for us," he said.
