Bollywood comedy "Kyaa Super Kool Hai Hum", which stars funny men Tusshar Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh, opened with mixed reviews but collected ₹230 Million in the opening weekend, making it the highest Ramadan opening ever.

The movie did remarkably well in the first weekend, with the audience comprising mostly of college crowd and youth.

The comedy sequel collected ₹71 million on the opening day, making it one of the top ten openers of the year. Although business was affected on Saturday due to heavy rainfall, the film managed to collect ₹70 million and witnessed outstanding collections at ₹89 million the following day.

"The film's satellite and audio rights have been pre-sold. The thunderous response to the film has resulted in an addition of screens on Saturday," Tanuj Garg, CEO - Balaji Motion Pictures said.

Although audiences have vehemently enjoyed the movie, it's difficult to say whether the film will cross the ₹1 billion mark at the box office along with other blockbuster movies of the year.

Produced by Ekta Kapoor, the adult comedy is a sequel to her film "Kyaa Kool Hai Hum" which was released in 2005.  Apart from Riteish and Tusshar, the movie also features Sarah Jane Dias and Neha Sharma in the female lead roles.
