Popular actress Sridevi, who made a stunning and sensational comeback in "English Vinglish," has revealed that she will be part of "Mr India 2" - a sequel to the original 1987 film with the same title.

"Mr. India" was a superhero flick starring Anil Kapoor and Sridevi in the lead roles. The film directed by Shekar Kapur was one of the biggest hits in the 1980s. Sridevi's husband Boney Kapoor, the producer of the movie, is planning to make a sequel to the flick.

The actress has confirmed the reports that she would be part of the sequel. "Of course, I will be part of "Mr India 2". But right now, it is too early to talk about. I don't know what my role is going to be in the sequel. My husband is now going to start shooting 'No Entry Main Entry'. So only after he finishes this film, we can talk about 'Mr India 2'," Sridevi, who was in New Delhi on Friday for the launch of Fiona, a digital RO water purifying technology, was quoted as saying by the Press Trust of India.

Sridevi, who was the leading actress in 1980s, took a long break from the film industry and was last seen in a full-fledged role in the film "Judaai" (1997). The sensational actress made a successful comeback in 2012 with Gauri Shinde directed film, "English Vinglish," which speaks about the travails of a homemaker who does not speak English.

The film received rave reviews and Sridevi won accolades for her stellar performance from all quarters. She was recently bestowed with the Padma Shri award, the fourth highest civilian award in India, for her contribution to Indian cinema.
