"Eega" ("Naan Ee") fame Nani was in for a small surprise when he met his favourite film star Kamal Haasan during "Vishwaroopam 2" shooting.
Nani is currently working in the Telugu-Tamil remake of Hindi film "Band Baaja Baaraat", which is Bollywood production house Yash Raj films' first venture in the south. On Wednesday, the actor was shooting for this yet-to-be-titled film, when he found that Kamal Hassan was canning scenes for "Vishwaroopam 2" in the adjacent floor.
"We are shooting in adjacent floors .. He for vishwaroopam and me for yash raj films .. And I was getting nervous in my own set ;)," Nani said on micro-blogging site Twitter.
The "Eega" actor, who is big fan of Kamal, visited the sets of "Vishwaroopam 2" to get a glimpse of the star and get his autograph. To his surprise the actor received a warm welcome from Kamal, who also introduced him to his heroine.
On meeting Kamal, Nani stated, "Like a kid who wants to get a glimpse of his favourite movie star .. Thot will go meet him and take a pic and ask for an autograph."
"To my surprise what followed was a warm welcome..He knows me and has seen my work ...Yahooooo..Couldn't believe it.. Had a chat with him and got back to shoot .. Dreams do come true .. Am still in a trance .. So happy and wanted to share it with all of u :)"
Nani is known for his Telugu films "Ala Modalaindi" and "Ashta Chamma". He became familiar in the south Indian film industry with the revenge-drama "Eega" ("Naan Ee"), which not only received several national and international honours but is also commercially successful.
Apart from the Yash Raj film, Nani has his hands full with multiple projects including "Paisa", "Janda Pai Kapiraju" and Prabhu Solomon's Tamil film.
