Amitabh Bachchan finally graced the popular TV show "Comedy Nights with Kapil".

The veteran, who was present with Boman Irani and child actor Parth Bhalerao for the "Bhoothnath Returns" promotions, appeared to have a whale of a time on the show.

Big B made a grand entrance as he appeared high on energy, dancing with kids and mouthing dialogues from his films.

It was a rare sight to witness the witty "CNWK" host Kapil Sharma dumbstruck after meeting the legendary actor at one point but Sharma got into his regular funny banter soon after.

Ali Asgar as Dadi got into his wacky character, dressing up as Kimi Katkar from the famous "Chumma Chumma" song of "Hum" and shaking a leg to hilarious dance moves. Big B surprised all as he went ahead and placed a peck on Dadi's cheeks, calling for a loud applause from the audience for the 'shagun ki pappi'.

Kiku Sharda's Palak had the audience in splits, when he grooved energetically to his crazy moves dressed as a school girl.

Bachchan's interaction with the audience was also fun-filled moments as the actor obliged to a fan's request singing "Tere ang ne mein" onstage with members of the audience matching steps.

The 71-year-old in course of the show revealed that he had never formally proposed to his wife Jaya Bachchan and that the duo came to know each other only during the shooting of "Zanjeer".

Bachchan played the perfect guest as he happily participated in Sharma's 33th birthday celebrations with the show's cast and crew. The actor was seen gifting Sharma a portrait of them, signed by the megastar himself.
