Actor Prithiviraj has revealed that he and his wife Supriya are expecting their first child.
The "Mozhi" actor announced the happy news on his official Facebook page.
He said,
Hi all!
This is a post to share something very very special and personal. I guess you guys will know about it sooner rather than later..so you might as well hear it from the horse's mouth.
I AM GOING TO BE A FATHER!!
Supriya and I are overjoyed and I hope all of you will share our happiness on what I believe is truly going to be the most momentous occasion of our lives. So yes..I'm counting down to the biggest release I will ever have!!

The actor has been receiving wishes from the friends in the film industry and well wishers, following his announcement. Actor Jayaram was among those who wished the couple. The actor said, "Congratz dear and wishing all the blessings from almighty."
Prithviraj met Supriya Menon, a journalist, in 2010 when she was covering news on southern cinema. The couple got married in Palakkadu in April 2011 and now they are expecting their first child.
Prithviraj made his film debut in 2002-release "Nandanam", which did well at the box office. Since then, the actor has starred in several critically acclaimed and commercially successful films in Malayalam. The actor is one of the top stars ruling the roost in the Malayalam film industry. He has also done several films in Tamil including "Mozhi", "Velli Thirai and "Ravanan." Prithviraj has also acted in two Bollywood films "Aiyaa" and "Aurangazeeb."
Some of his upcoming films include "7th Day" (Malayalam) and "Kaaviya Thalaivan" (Tamil) among others.
